Lao Script for Windows supports the use of Standard French or Swiss French keyboard layouts when the appropriate keyboard has been loaded with Windows.  However, the older Lao/English fonts provided with Lao Script for Windows do not contain the accented characters required for French, so if you are using French language and Lao together, it will generally be best to use Lao Unicode fonts such as Saysettha OT.
